Rhodonite and Grief is the closest thing to Woman (in Mirror) on this record. And it's awesome.

Two listens in, and I’m willing to say this could compete with Rooms. Which is my fav LD album god damn. The sequencing on this is really well done too.

i like bands who can't sing good Supporter

was pretty fickle on listening to the leak, but since the release i've listened to this front to back 5 or 6 times and it's really growing on me. still think the last 3 songs are the pinnacle, with footsteps at the pond being the best track on here atm.

the vocal mix was pretty grating for me but i definitely think it'll be something alot of people will come to appreciate and will set this album apart from other LD releases, for good or bad.

I really love how his vocal's slowly get unburied from start to finish on you ascendant though. one of my favorite parts of the record.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

this is definitely my favourite thing they've done as a complete package, the flow and pacing is just so gooood

Anyone else notice the typo on the title for track 8 on the vinyl packaging?

yeah that and just the various guitar tones remind me a lot of what Mike and Chris were doing on that album

Not the best record to run to. Too many slow burners. But when the guitars in the intro of the View from Our Bedroom Window kick in its a nice uplift. Think I'm into the second half more than the first half of this one.

This record is good but absolutely demands your full attention, which is why that lyric video (...game?) thing they put out is so great.

really curious to where the majority will rank this in their discog. felt like the discussion was gonna blow up in this thread. but its a pretty big grower.

This might be my least favourite honestly. Definitely far below Rooms and Wildlife. It's probably better than Somewhere but there's songs on there I like more than anything on here.

I'm going to have to wait to say where this lands until I can see how much it grows on me.

As of now, Rooms, Wildlife, this. But all are very close and each album has stand out songs that make me want to put that album first.
