I went to their secret show at Backbooth back in 2017 with Beartooth and it was complete insanity.

 

Immediately after a Jack's Mannequin set at Bamboozle Left 2006, SoCo reunited for three songs. We heard rumors that it was happening throughout the day and anyone who could get on stage did in advance.

Taking Back Sunday/Blue October/Grandson/Flora Cash/Shaed/Oliver Tree/Matt Meason are all playing Tampa on May 18th.

 

I can’t wait to see how they go over with the thrash crowd

 

Primus is very heavy live. I saw them play right before Slayer at Aftershock Festival a few years back and the pit was intense.

 

That would’ve been fun! The only two times I’ve seen them it was all seated, so there wasn’t really any of that going on, sadly

 

The only cool intimate show I've seen was a Julien Baker acoustic set to maybe 50 people. Jealous of everyone else's they sound crazy

Elvis Costello at Gramercy (like 300)

 

Secret shows I guess would be shortly before the 2016 election, when Jay-Z played a free show at a 14,000 seater arena and Beyonce, Chance The Rapper, J. Cole and Big Sean all where the unannounced “friends”.

 

Just got an ad on setlist.fm for Rockstar Energy Disrupt Fest featuring The Used, Memphis May Fire, Thrice, Circa Survive. So there's that confirmation for that fest.

I think that was the name anyway. I refreshed the page just as I noticed it.

 

I’m sure The_Used_Fan already has the 411 on that fest, but it’ll probably cost you a rant on how Lies For The Liars is the most ingenious record ever recorded or something haha

 

Back in like 2007, MySpace used to put o these “secret shows” like that, and I got to see Tiger Army play at the Shelter in Detroit. They played a bunch of old stuff.

Best / wild surprise set was a split 10 minute set of Trapped Under Ice & Bad seed, during the Four Year strong / Strike anywhere / this time next year / title fight tour.

TUI got a flight to Baltimore delayed while they were in detroit, so they got put on, the venue was sold out, FYS was touring on explains it all, so it was more of a crowd that isn’t used to those shows.

All hell broke loose and it was WILD.

So about that tour that Kill The Music teased... They commented that it's being announced tomorrow

 

They said that thursday, so tomorrow would've been yesterday...

 

They left another comment this morning seeming pretty sure that it will be announced monday

Idk why TSSF would be on the Rockstar Disrupt Festival if they're also doing the Pure Noise tour with CP but who knows at this point, this is the weirdest summer in forever because pop-punk & metalcore bands can actually tour the US year-round

 

Lineups are different on some of the Rockstar Festival dates. TSSF could just be playing the west coast dates or something.

 

Kellin Quinn teasing a 10 year tour for an album a year ahead of time, while his band is in a massive dip in popularity is sad.

I mean I'll be at show having the time of my life, but still.
