Edited to add: I personally would suggest, if you like that sorta thing, getting blue cheese crumbles (order it first so it’s directly on the bread) then when you toast it it melts and it’s so good.
I also get chipotle Gouda on it as well but that’s a personal choice

Not to darken the mood, but our flight to Florida leaves tonight. It's a direct red-eye so it's gonna be a long night. My gf talked to her sister today and mentioned that their mom's health is rapidly declining since she stopped the chemo treatments. We can't get there soon enough. My gf is to the point to where she's not even sure she'll be coming back on the return flight Monday night.

I'm more than happy to be there for her, but this is gonna be rough.

I'm sorry to hear this bud. I said before, and from experience, it is rough. Our relationship got real rocky because she was grieving, stopped talking to me, people in general, etc. and it was just a hard confusing time. I've never been put in that position and it was very hard. I wish you luck, you're doing a good thing here.
