QT plays with history and Debra Tate said the story wasn’t what anyone should expect so I’m really just not setting any plot expectations until I see it

That will definitely happen.

 

There is literally no way you could portray Sharon getting killed in this movie, especially having seen this trailer. It would be a monumental lapse in judgement from so many people if that happened. So...the alternate history thing has to be what’s happening right?

 

QT clearly doesn’t care about what he should or shouldn’t do in his movies, so I’m sure it will be controversial.

 

According to Wikipedia it’s Mike Moh. I’ve never seen him before. I didn’t know Bruce Lee attended Sharon Tate’s funeral (and was investigated after her death) and I’m a pretty big Lee fan. I’m a little more excited for this film than I was yesterday.

So one of his big acts was in the Inhumans show. This explains why I haven’t seen him before.

 

Going to be very weird to have the name Tate in the news for this again.

 

Yeah I’m pretty well convinced that he will change history here the same way he did in Basterds. Like, 95% sure. Would be satisfying as hell if Tate killed Atkins, Watson, and Krenwinkle. Maybe even have Leo and Pitt be there that night and have her save their lives.

QT is/was buddies with Sandler, he had a cameo as a blind priest in Little Nicky

 

This is EXACTLY the type of Leo performance I was hoping for, and I always love Brad Pitt in everything so I'm really happy with the trailer. Looks like it hits exactly the funny but fucked up tone I was hoping for

This is honestly my most anticipated movie of the year I think

He honestly has like 5-10 performances that could be considered his absolute best and it would be tough to argue that one of them isn't valid. He's amazing.

 

I could see QT doing an alternate version of the Manson murders.

 

I'd like to see a more mature QT movie at this point and this kind of has that vibe a bit, but I figure it will probably still cartoon-ish like the rest of his movies. It would be interesting to take that step up towards more realism and restraint.
