Question: I asked that girl last Wednesday if she would be down to get sushi this Wednesday. She 1. Seemed really excited about the prospect but 2. She had a friend visiting that week so she wasn’t sure what her schedule was like but said “I’ll definitely let you know :).” We haven’t texted much at all since then, which is fine, preferred even. But at what point do I text her and ask if Wednesday works?

 

I think today or tomorrow would be good. Not too soon and close enough to Wednesday that it doesn’t seem weird.

I think at this point it’s pretty safe to say I’ve been ghosted. I’ve expressed in the past how dumb I think ghosting is but I understand it in a situation where maybe you met someone at a bar and exchanged phone numbers in a drunkened state. That makes sense to me. But this feels a little odd as 1. We worked together for awhile and would talk a decent amount at work and 2. She reached out to me in the first place. So, I don’t really understand but cest la vie ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
