They should have just set the match tonight so they have a couple of weeks to build and put together a video package similar to the Daniel Bryan monster one.

I think the WWE deserves some credit. They didn’t have all these stars come back, no time to put Roman back at the top, no taker or Cena (although I do think he will show up), and they made this one of more interesting manias on paper. Obviously there’s the women’s match that lost some steam but it’s still over. They made everyone care about Kofi. They made us care about a face Miz. They even made AJ/Orton interesting.

At this point, Im happy if the outcomes are obvious at WM because it means they'll have told stories that have a direction. Becky winning the Rumble was great even if it felt like the obvious choice. And the company has been dumb enough in the past that false finishes become believable.

 

Yeah its looking like it's get heat on the heels all year then super babyface Wrestlemania, i'm cool with that.

 

It feels like a much much more traditional approach to booking. Have everyone go home happy.

This booking is breaking up the dynamic where heels were getting over big and cheered like KO. You guys can talk shit as much as you want, but the last four months have established true baby face characters.
