I’d rather watch the documentary covering the first festival.

If I was to go the only artists I would like to watch are

    Day 1 -
    Santana
    The Lumineers
    The Head and the Heart
    Maggie Rogers
    Michael Franti & Spearhead

    Day 2 -
    Dead & Company
    Leon Bridges
    India.Arie
    Country Joe McDonald
    Soccer Mommy

    Day 3 -
    Halsey
    Judah and the Lion
    Boygenius
    Canned Heat

Fever 333 being on this seems weird

Kind of strange to drop a lineup when tickets aren't on sale for another month. Wanted to beat Lollapalooza's announcement? I don't know...

No doubt about it this is the most stacked festival lineup for any US festival. But what's disappointing is there isn't any real exclusives on here. All these bands have either played the festival circuit last year or will be all over it this year.
If I go my schedule would look like:

    Day 1 -
    The Killers
    The Raconteurs
    Run the Jewels
    Maggie Rogers

    Day 2 -
    Chance the Rapper
    The Black Keys
    Portugal the Man
    Leon Bridges
    Gary Clark Jr
    Soccer Mommy

    Day 3 -
    Jay Z
    Cage the Elephant
    Janelle Monae
    Young the Giant
    Courtney Barnett
    Vince Staples
    BOYGENIUS

    It's actually pretty boring.

Anyone have any estimates on price? Never know how to gauge something like this

I’d say around $250 - $300 for the weekend (general admission).
Cheaper tickets for college students (age 18 - 25) we’re going to go on sale in January but that didn’t happen. If they still do I would say around $175 for the weekend.

Kind of glad they steered away from filling the lineup with generic EDM you can see at any other US fest. Also, they probably didn't want to book many heavy bands after the fiasco in '99.

By day I'd check out the following:

    Friday

    The Killers
    Miley
    Lumineers
    Raconteurs
    Nathaniel Ratliff
    John Fogerty
    Run The Jewels
    Head & The Heart
    Maggie Rogers
    Akon
    Grandson
    Flora Cash

    Saturday

    The Black Keys
    Portugal The Man
Ed Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros
    Jade Bird
    Soccer Mommy

    Sunday

    Jay Z
    Cage The Elephant
    Brandi Carlile
    Janelle Monad
    Young The Giant
    Vince Staples
    Reignwolf
    The Zombies
    Cherry Glazerr

I’m still surprised Akon was put on this. I’m guessing it’s because of his philanthropy which is better than his music. I’d still watch him though for the sake of my high school nostalgia.

You're way too optimistic! I'd guess a 3 day GA ticket for this will be over $400.

Maybe but Woodstock will be in competition with other festivals. That’s why I think the price will be a bit lower.

Yeah there will be more acts added I bet. I'm betting Santana gets added.

But this is to me a great lineup, especially considering how expensive festival headliners are these days.

There's going to be discounted tickets for students, haven't heard how much but the rumor is that GA will be $349 and VIP will start at $725 depending on the package.

    Santana is already playing, fortunately.
This will at least be a good festival to watch due to it being live streamed.

Fun fact: I paid for the PPV of Woodstock 1994
Un-Fun Fact: I made the mistake of doing that again in 1999

Damn I really hope the three headliners don't conflict each night. Would be hard trying to pick between Dead, Chance and Black Keys.

This lineup honestly doesn't blow me away, but I do have a lot of friends who want to go. Would be cool to say I've been to one of only 4 Woodstock festivals.

Oh boy, one of my friends who is going to this absolutely adores The Dead and The Black Keys. I hope for his sake they don't overlap entirely.

I hope they all overlap cuz this festival is a disgrace to the Woodstock name
