  1. The Cleveland Death Cab crowd was very disrespectful to Jay Som playing solo a few months ago and it made me very angry

Yeah it'll probably be ten! Our doors didn't open until 8 so everything was shifted an hour later. So glad I stayed an extra night and didn't try to drive home after the show cause I would've 100% crashed my car and died

  3. This was great, but like, I got out so late that I missed the last subway and had to Lyft to my car.

Are you guys all referring to the same show or have they been going on at 11 every night? That’s just bonkers to me.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

You ask over the music, “Did I hear that right?”"

@ncarrab I’d expect BOCC to come on around 10:00 in Cleveland based on this

  9. They didn't have this at the merch table in Seattle!!! Why??

Also, can confirm that people in the crowd were terrible, especially during Christian's set.

I wonder how many copies they will sell during the tour. May have to get to Brooklyn early on 3/30...

  11. He actually pointed out how quiet we were in LA! I was surprised.

They did! My friend got one. I wonder if they only had a limited number per city.

Also, yeah. The Seattle crowd was absolutely awful. I was at the bar and legitimately couldn't hear CLH over people shouting over the music. Sloppy Jane was...not what I expected. At all.

  18. I think I saw Pheebs tweet or insta something about so and so city not prepared for Sloppy Jane, so I kinda knew to expect the unexpected haha. Might actually want to properly check them out at some point.

I found sloppy Jane to be excellent. Idk if I'd be into the music itself or not, but as a performance I thought it was super interesting and weird. Haley Dahl has stage presence for days and I say that about very few people if anyone has ever read my negative reviews of live pop performers before lmao. I thought she was such a star and was so impressed that a whole band of people all got on board with such weirdness.

  20. That must have been it. I rarely check the merch table beforehand because I don't want to carry it all night. My bad I guess!

Also, I echo Sloppy Jane being incredibly interesting. I wish I could know what went into the performance, it almost seemed like a musical.

Nah best post-Bright Eyes thing he's done is Ruminations. Definitely listen to that if you haven't.

Oh for sure, they were captivating! I don't know if it's something I would seek out and listen to absent the live setting, but I wouldn't skip their set if they opened for more tours.
