On a day where I feel like I used to feel on a consistent basis, when I didn't feel like my life was worth experiencing. Seeing these fucking posts has me absolutely irate.

 

I've never listened to forever the sickest kids but always assumed they were like a scene/dance band in the late 00's, what are they

 

I just finished my first door dash ‘shift’
I made $12 in a half hour so not bad at all but it looks like my area is pretty saturated with drivers bc if I try and schedule the only times available this week are now midnight-1am :/

It's just a day. I have good and bad ones. I've never figured out what was wrong with me, and never had success with medication, but I've learned how to manage it. maybe that's not what you were saying entirely haha, but yeah, i won't let it get to me... too much.

 

yeah that is not a phase in music/fashion that I miss

 

no disrespect to that person, but how is sadness not a symptom of depression?

 

I just know that with my own depression that if I let myself attach to a thought that's not good for me, it's going to spiral, that I'm going to go further and further into the rabbit hole, and the best advice I have for myself or you or anyone else would be to try and not attach to those thoughts. for me it's a mantra, for you it could be that or anything else that works, I just know that my depression in particular is the kind where if I go down a bad pathway of thinking, chances are I'll be stuck and miserable and unsure of why at the end but I've noticed this and try to always catch a depressive train of thought while I still can. in short: it's dumb shit and you're awesome. fuck it

Considering the DSM literally has sadness as one of their criteria for depression:

• Persistent sad, anxious, or “empty” mood.

Obviously not everyone experiences depression the same way or to the same degree but that kid really picks some bad hills to die on in that thread.
