Haha my wife teases me about the story in this game and when she asks about what other game I'm currently playing she asks about the story and if you find out your sister's gay. I definitely expected something bigger to happen but man everything about Gone Home is just great, music, atmosphere, story is definitely great emotional wise.

 

After seeing Watchdogs 2 I started to think what games have an African American as the main protagonist? I got GTA:SA and GTA V.

 

Prototype 2 did, Mafia III will

 

The first season of The Walking Dead

and Crysis

 

Assassins Creed: Freedom Cry (just African though I guess), the Suffering (and suffering 2?), Borderlands if you play Roland (not earth technically though)

 

I had totally forgotten The Suffering was a thing until I saw it mentioned randomly the other day. I seem to recall loving it.

 

The upcoming Mafia 3

 

Remember Me, True Crime NY, AC: Liberation

 

The Battlefield 1 cover too. Hopefully it's a trend we'll be seeing more of.

 

I remember it scaring the shit out of me by peppering in random jump scare images flashing onto the screen periodically

 

I find myself thinking about Dark Void on a weekly basis. Never played it outside of a demo for ps3 but I remember it seeming pretty cool.

 

Oh good, the statement about Alison Road's cancellation doesn't say anything of use.

 

The Suffering was awesome! So was the sequel, really wish someone would reboot those games or remaster them.

Played a bit of Just Cause 3 last night. Damn, really great game. Wish more people gave it a chance.

 

Got DA Inquistion! I also have another $22 in credit but I'm gonna save it since I want Watch_Dogs 2, Pokemon Moon and FFXV. Still have quite a few games to finish.

 

Have you ever looked into EA Access or that's not your type of thing?

 

I also just checked out the Rocket League update and everything looks soooo cool. The end title screen even makes it better with labeling you as something different.

Smite/Overwatch/Rocket League have taken over my life.

NFS Rivals - only one i'm slightly interested in

also i barely work a few hours a day so i don't make much money. i try to avoid subscriptions where possible haha

I'm so tempted to pick up FFXIV from the PSN sale this week as I do love a good MMO and adore Final Fantasy...but I do I really want to commit MMO amounts of time to a game right now? On the other hand, there's not really much I'm looking forward to on the horizon - maybe #FE and definitely Zero Time Dilemma.

 

Anybody know what's going on and when Sherlock Holmes:The Devil's Daughter releases?

I burned through Extra Lives by Tom Bissell, what a fantastic video game read. Really made me itch for the current console games, but when my brother and I parted ways I let him take the PS4. I think the only current gen games I've played and have had a keen interest in were Firewatch, Fallout 4, and Battlefront. Firewatch was the only one that's really stuck with me.

 

Great fucking game. My GOTY, probably will be in December too.
