I haven;t seen JASBSB in a long ass time. I am almost afraid to re-watch it thinking it won't hold up.

Woooo! Hopefully this is great. The cast looks awesome already. Always down for Craig Robinson and Justin Long. Also haven't seen Shannon Elizabeth in anything in a long time.

Really excited for this. Being from Jersey I've been a View Askew fan since like 1997. I used to watch Clerks and Mallrats everyday after school. I remember being so psyched for the original JASBSB release in 2001. It was the only movie ever that I saw three times in the theater. Does it hold up nearly as well 18 years later? Defiantly not but I tend to keep it on whenever I stumble on it channel surfing. I feel like (probably an unpopular opinion) Will Ferrell ruins a lot of the funny moments.

With all that said, cant wait to see this but I feel like Kevin Smith is ruining a lot of the reboot already by giving away all the cameos.

The View Askew-niverse is one of my favourite groupings of movies ever. This might be over-the-top and ridiculous, but Kevin Smith being the director he is will be very much aware of that fact.

 

I love the slap stick style of the first one, with the over the top facial expressions and sound effects as they snap their heads around. I hope this movie keeps that.

 

I'll prob love this no matter what.


Kevin blew me away with Clerks 2 I thought it was gonna be awful and well, I love that god damn movie so much.


Mostly cause of Rosario tho. Randal is also probably my favorite comedic character of all time too.

 

Honestly the only movie I out right dislike is Yoga Hosers. Tusk is in the middle of the road, but I really love Everything from Clerks though Red State.

I did it just through pure love for the past movies and his podcasts haha. Also for Ralph Garman.

 

Zack and Miri is still such an underrated movie.

 

The scene where they talk about Lost cracks me up EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Man that's a bummer. I thought it was the other way around where Affleck wouldn't be down to do it. I know the movie wrapped shooting already but I hope this happened!

Please make sure Will Ferrell is not in the sequel, although Im sure he will be. He totally ruins the first one.
