    Did a play index search for starting pitchers giving up walk off homers. Most recent was Rich Hill in 2017 when the walk off he gave up ended his no hitter in the 10th (!) inning.



    Before that, the last one was in 2013 when Dillon Gee gave up a walk off homer to Freddie Freeman to lose 2-1.



    Before that, 2008 when John Lackey gave one up to Carlos Quentin.




    It used to be a somewhat common occurrence, at least much much more common than it is now. I wonder if we'll see it again and if it'll take extraordinary circumstances like Hill's no hit bid

    OK...career low in BA, second worst OBP, second worst SLG, second worst OPS, a 1.7 WAR (2nd lowest in career), second worst WAA (-4), second worst RAA (-2), second worst Rbat.

    I've always liked Santana and am actually glad he's back in Cleveland but I do not think he had an 'alright' year.
