  6. I’ve got some potentially super fun ideas for the Country comp, but no idea what I’d do if I did an Oberst song, haha.

  8. I know one song I am going to do for sure, but it's a surprise so I'm not going to call it out. :-)

Gotta think of a second and/or third one to do... But I'm excited!

I have a couple Darius Rucker songs in mind.....I just gotta pick up the guitar first and see if I can make it sound halfway decent.

sorry guys. Been stupid busy with work, My boss made me lead on a new project with a major auto parts store. Weekends I tell myself I’m gonna finish my Rock Opera this year but mostly sleep and/or try to find rogue erotica blogs on Tumblr that haven’t gotten the Thanos snap. Stuck in the land of the lotus eaters, amirite? Anyway, as promised, your mom and I aren’t getting divorced..yet:

@therookielot: first track hell yeah, I had fun doing this one. I’ve never experimented with layering guitar parts. sorry im a n00b. Its weird playing off yourself. I mostly did this song for the bridge. fav part to record.

@Patterns in Traffic sintraffic- very hypnotic! The programming is money. Very smooth transitions.

@Jdaniels not sure how you did it but this but it hits me in the feels. Prolly the lyrics make me miss the glory dayssss

@bobsheiskawy I didn’t even know they were still recording stuff. this is a great acoustic pop-punk jam man. good job.

@manoverboard365 I’m getting a Andrew McMahon circa SoCo - North days when I hear your voice

@bradsonemanband for like a minute I was trying to figure out if this was you with some filter for some reason. I’ve never heard the og version but this is fantastic

@elemenohpe This is fire :57 in

@St. Nate - first time hearing this. good emotional resonance on this

@David Parke cool arrangement. curious about the programming you used on these drums

@khiemster this sounds legit. I saw her last year with Lorde with my niece.

@TerrancePryor I didn’t hear this song in whole until I heard your version/. this is creepy and so fucking lovely. programming is on point

@Jdaniels another blast from the past from a band I thought I was done. haven’t heard the original but this sounds very TDS

@aoftbsten This title made me think of Into It Over It, recording also, very lofi, love it. If I could imagine how Kewtchum ID sounds this is it

I'm kicking around the idea of doing "The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia" by Vicki Lawrence (also covered by Tanya Tucker and Reba McEntire)... hope I find time to put something together.

is it the same for you? Prestigious

I listened to Tim McGraw's Set This Circus Down yesterday to see if there was anything on there that I wanted to do. I didn't settle on a song, but I can confirm that the record is still wall-to-wall bangers.

How country do these country songs have to be? Like can I do a Dan + Shay song or are they more pop than country?

I mean the fact that people are doing Turnpike Troubadours songs makes me think that as long as there's a country tinge it counts personally I can't count the Troubadours or Old 97's as country and as such sadly i will not be doing covers for my favorite bands same with BJ Barham or American Aquarium.
