It's amazing seeing his progression as an artist

 

He mentions it's the 6th part of the colors, so unless he doesn't consider Yellow & Green a double album (doubtful), this is likely not.

 

This album art is amazing. I really can’t wait to hear this. Probably my most anticipated of the year

 

unless he is only referring to the art, as Yellow & Green each had their own cover paintings, while this is one piece.

 

He says "the 6th and final piece in our chromatically-themed records," so I don't think it's a reference to the art specifically.

Speaking of the art, I like how there are little bits of all the colors they've used on album covers mixed in there.

 

Who’s going to the show tonight at The Wiltern

 

My guess is we get the studio version of Borderlines at minimum, but maybe a release date/pre-order, too.

Just saw them live - new song was v much in the vein of purple material - outride seemed dope

 

So glad I finally got to see them tonight. Been listening since Red Album. Oh and Deafheaven was flawless too but that’s old news.

 

Borderlines is out on Apple Music. Release date for gold and grey is June 14th. 17 songs!!

Damn such a long wait. Guess it'll correspond with a tour during that time. But this is basically another double album?

 

Amazon has the runtime at 60 minutes, so not exactly a double album but definitely longer than their usual albums. Stoked!
