Earl has a lot more injury history and threatened retirement, Landon had to get his shoulder cleaned once and that's basically it. Obviously earl is a much better player on the field but you could see why he might get less gtd.

 

why wouldnt the Saints just give him that instead of giving Latavius the deal he got

I definitely feel for you. I had someone in my office today that was using the whole "hes a headache/problem in the locker room" argument. I just don't get it. He seemed like he was loved by his team - I mean they had a dance party in the locker room after he got paid haha. Id be pretty bummed out about it too, but yeah if it can lead to you guys landing a QB and jump starting the turnaround then I guess that's something positive to take away from it all.
