What was the last great AJ Styles match? I honestly cannot remember.

 

Please, please let Kofi win at Mania. That promo yesterday was incredible.

 

Definitely been a while. The Nakamura feud totally killed his momentum and they really didn’t give him much after that. But I think he and randy could still have a good match if they don’t over book the match/angle. Orton actually seems interested

 

AJ/Andrade on SD like two or three months ago was really good

 

For sure. Wasn’t trying to be my snarky asshole self, I honestly couldn’t remember the last time I saw AJ wrestle and was like “wow.”

 

Didn't AJ and DB just have a pretty good one? Maybe it just had a flat finish?

 

I think the fact that it's a struggle to possibly remember is a good indicator he's fallen a bit in ring

 

I think Vince has a real issue with putting guys over clean. There is a lot of protecting guys so they don't look weak. It makes for a really forgettable product. The fact that he hasn't had Braun win a title, but keeps him from being pinned over and over is so frustrating. He could be a great opponent for a lot of guys, but jobbing is above him. Put Braun in NJPW and he'll lose for a year straight.

 

His matches with Bryan have been decent to pretty good. Nothing that really stood out though

 

I've said this before but Braun is just Ryback now. For whatever reason they didn't pull the trigger when they should have and now it's too late but they never put him over clean just in case they decide they need to throw him back into the main event to inevitably lose again.

 

@Joe4th have I told you that The Dust of Retreat is basically my favorite album ever. Its seriously perfect.

I did not know that, but yeah it's so damn good. Jen is probably the weakest song on it but I still enjoy it

The timing was bad it was after a really hot match, I think they were right after the Womens Rumble with all the Becky stuff.

 

Yep, they basically trotted out a ZSJ match right after Becky's win...about the worst move they could have made.

That said, their TLC match was great. So good in fact that it ruined the Dean/Seth match that followed, since it had way more heat than what should have been a blood feud.

 

That being said, I hope ZSJ never signs with the WWE. That style will never get over.

Also, how good was Big E last night. If Kofi does win the title I could see E turning on him. Saying he only supported him winning because he knew he could beat him.

But even if you keep new day together, let them have a serious side too. It was so good seeing them like that

Its also a reminder that 3 of the best workers and 3 of the best guys they have on the mic have been doing sort of nothing for a while. They can create a lot of fresh singles match-ups just by having them as a team start looking for opportunities.

 

I'm with Dan on this one. ZSJ is fine, and I can appreciate his style, but imagine seeing ZSJ matches every single week on Raw or SDL? Total snoozefest.
