Boston crowds during what I would call 'quieter' shows (?) can be... terrible.
Not saying they are the same at all, but the last Copeland show I saw here the crowd was brutal. Talking over the band the entire time, heckling Aaron at points.

 

Yikes. I've mostly had really good experiences with crowds at The Sinclair so fingers crossed. I was debating going to the Copeland show next month but if it's going to be like that I'll probably skip the drive on a Tuesday night.

 

I will say most of my experiences at the Sinclair have been great, as well!
If I can get the night off or my part-time job, I might head to that Copeland show, too. Trying hard to cut back on my concerts though, haha

 

Same! I feel like spring in the Boston area is stacked, but it's crushing my bank account.

 

Saw them last night at the San Diego show. Fucking excellent set. Christian Lee Hutson was great. Sloppy Jane was brilliantly weird.

 

I had no idea what to make of sloppy Jane.
Caught me completely by surprise.

 

Same! But I loved their set. The best part of them taking like 40 minutes to reset the stage for BOCC was that I had enough time to process that set. I can appreciate it when people just go all-in with whatever they're doing, especially if it's on the weird storytelling side.

If I remember correctly, Christian Lee Hutson was 30 minutes, Sloppy Jane was 40 minutes, and then BOCC was over an hour (16 songs). All-in-all with setups between sets it was a 3-3.5 hour show.

It’s a good Killers song. If anything that song strips away the (intentional) gloss of the track. Leaving a nice melancholy song. To me it’s a desperate/sad song wrapped in pop production. Love that shit.

Loved Hot Fuss/Sam's Town/Sawdust but a big no to everything else.
