I have never liked this band/always thought they were pretty bad, but I really love that new song. Hit like a ton of bricks.

 

Dudes a great singer. Hyped for this

 

Ugh really don't need to spend any more money on records, but I know I'll be regretting it if I don't. Plus, I still need that 7" split they did w/ Pianos Become The Teeth.

 

that split is amazing

anyway... I'm in the same situation, plus I'm moving for a couple of years and leaving my record collection/stereo behind, so it makes no sense at all to order this

I like the single. That guitar line is great. I think I'd like it a lot more as an instrumental track though.

 

Gravity, Metaphorically has one of my favorite Touche riffs ever in it. That slow part is so good. And Hiding is such an amazing Pianos track. Yeah.....biting the bullet on the deluxe.

 

Palm Dreams is great. Loved that he's singing a bit more now.

So Jeremy's mother passed of cancer? That's tough. I can't imagine that kind of pain. My father passed from it when I was very young and the pain and mystery from that still rings from that to this day with me. I hope this record allowed him some type of peace or catharsis or possible closure that I'm sure many listeners will glean from it.

 

Well they have a NYC date on like 9/8 I think. Just got an email blast from the company announcing m83 and grizzly bear and they got mentioned.

I was so confused.
