It wouldn't be so bad if the covers were all only from Teal (even though I rather not 5 in total). I just want a "No Scrubs" performance, and footage to view (since this tour isn't near me).

 

I saw them touring White a few years ago and they didn't play a super long set but still touched on every album (except Hurley haha). They threw in a medley to get representation for Maladroit and EWBAITE, which I think is totally fair for a band with such an extensive discography. All things considered I thought it was a really good setlist and still included 4 songs from Blue and 4 songs from White to appeal to the newer and older fans alike. Doing pretty much exclusively 10+ year-old stuff and covers doesn't seem like the ideal experience.

It looks like they added Happy Hour and Thank God for Girls into the set for last night's show though. A couple more recent songs at least.

 

People are paying $60-$70 to see Weezer? My tickets were $25. Granted, they were GA.

 

Every time I've saw them recently, I've paid $70 and above (tax not included)

 

Last night they added Thank God For Girls, Happy Hour, El Scorcho and Troublemaker to the setlist. They dropped a cover too.

That's a solid set list in my eyes!

 

Drop about 2 more covers and now we’re talking. They at least change up their sets a bit each night

They also dropped The World Has Turned and Falling for You, so it seems like maybe the covers aren’t flex spots and the stuff I wanna hear is

 

Pavilion seats for their Cleveland show last summer were definitely in that range. GA (behind the Pavilion) was probably 25 or 30.

If your ideal set list doesn't include "You Gave Your Love to Me Softly" you need to rethink your life choices.

 

I had that but swapped it for Love Of My Dreams because, as we know, Love Of My Dreams is the greatest song of all time

I realize how big a Weezer fan I am by going to 30 and being mad how much shit I still have to omit haha. Little indulgent with the EWBAITE closers but I love those. Sincere apologies to Angel And The One and Ruling Me lol.

I’ll try making a dream setlist but I will say all they have to do to make the current setlist great is replace the covers with High as a Kite, California Kids, Back To the Shack and The Good Life. Super realistic but makes it 10x better for me.
