    As much as I love Andrew, I've never listened to this before. Cool hearing these super early unpolished recordings.

    When It Goes Down - Both songs struck me as weaker early-career efforts from a band trying to find their sound, but ITP in particular seemed like they were exploring a direction that didn't fit them too well.

    Man, I really wanted to see When It Goes Down end up with a zero. It’s just diet, bland Konstantine with the added ding of a random slur that’s super jarring for his discography, context or not.

    I actually got the same impression and almost mentioned it - seems like a lesser version of Konstantine. But knowing where the band ended up it seems more like a step in the right direction sonically than ITP. Agreed that it was jarring hearing the slur from Andrew.

    ITP reminds me a lot of where he has gone later in his career. It’s very different for sure, but it’s such a fun one. Much more AMITW than SoCo to me.
