I probably shouldn’t be surprised by anything anymore but people just amaze me.

This woman walks up to me with her daughter (maybe 17) and another kid (id guess 3) with two tickets for the 6:05 Madea. She explains that she walked into the movie and after about 30 or so minutes, it was over. She didn’t realize that she had walked into the wrong auditorium and was wondering if she could just see the next showing. First of all, that’s stupid, I don’t know how she did that without realizing but ok, I’ll help her out. However, I let her know that she has to buy a third ticket for the kid and she goes, “but he’s two” and I’m like, “well, anyone over 1 has to pay for a ticket” and she’s like, “but it’s not a kid’s movie...” (-_-) By that logic I wouldn’t have to pay for kids movies cause they aren’t targeted for me. You’re paying for the seat and it has to do with fire code. Anyway, then she’s like, “well, if I have to pay for his ticket then I’m not seeing the movie.” So I gave her a refund but god damn, people!!

also yeah how do you not know about how long you are into a movie

If it's allowed in a plane it's allowed in a movie theater

 

I’d rather follow fire code laws

 

@Dog with a Blog ours is that kids have to pay once they hit 3 and I’ve had so many people with kids that are clearly 6 years old and they’ll say they’re 2

I really don't think so. I rarely have to interact with people.

 

I really do my best to rip people off without them knowing it.

 

We’ve trained our oldest daughter to say she is 2 if the cast members at Disney or Universal ask. She’s actually 3 and a half now.

 

That’s okay but why would you ever attempt to say a 6 year old is 2!!!

I also redeemed 2 digital movie codes i found in DVD cases at goodwill. Didn't buy the movies but the codes worked even though said they expired in 2014.

Now I have twilight breaking dawn part 1 and 2 in my digital movie collection

Yeah but they’re probably in standard definition so you might as well just set your tv on fire rather than suffer through that low resolution garbage
