Brown and the Raiders took a giant dump on Pittsburgh

 

I still wouldn't judge the Mack trade as a failure for Oakland. Obviously, it's completely reliant on the success of the picks, but, where the Raiders were at, I don't think gathering all those picks and steering away from a single player taking up 1/8th of your salary cap is all that bad. Ditto for Cooper and his 2019 expiring deal. The timing is almost perfect to do this since this draft is deep in the front seven and WRs.

I think both the Cooper and Mack trades were win/win for all teams involved. Nobody got screwed and everyone is happy with what they got.

If the Eagles were truly interested in AB I wonder if Nelson Agholor plus a mid round pick would have worked.

 

I’d rather have Mack than Brown for sure, but I’m not sure if I’d prefer Mack + 1 2nd or Brown + 2 1sts

 

Brown + a whole new future is pretty exciting.
