I wish the Texans won the Super Bowl this year due to money freed by getting rid of Brock and then Chubb led us to a Super Bowl in the future so we could feel that way again.

I actually wasn't mad about LeBron leaving because I felt like it was his choice and that Mike Brown sucked. Also, it was Warped Tour in Cleveland and I was drunk.

  3. Probably above average. Steelers must really like Matt Feiler.

His contract is backup level money and he's only playing less than half the snaps.

I'm fine with that, but I wouldn't want to have him as our starter, which is what I figured Randall is talking about Fred, that he was good enough to be the premiere back. Maybe I misunderstood?

Edit: He's also not injury prone. I was imagining Sean Lee in my head when I made that last post. I want him either gone or take an extreme pay cut.

Fred Taylor was not an elite back in his 30s

I thought he meant just as a change of pace back, if I remember this was in prime MJD days

If that's the case, then yeah, I could understand signing him to a small, incentive based contract. Just not as the #1 RB.

I think Fred was good enough to be a premier back for some teams, (probably not an upper half talent anymore but still startable) but we also had MJD who was admittedly better at the time since he was young and highly explosive.

Jags could’ve continued to be dominant on the ground with two backs as they did 2005-2007. I could see MJD at 1140 and Taylor at 860 for those two seasons.

Jones Drew was good but he struggled to be effective in terms of YPC once the pressure was all on him, we just force fed him the ball and went 5-11 with shitty offenses haha. Taking away Fred took away our competitive edge of having two hard to stop backs

I'm very curious what we're going to do with Lee. He's confirmed and made it clear that he still wants to play and wants to stay here, but he's now our 3rd best LB and is injury prone. Like, I don't know how he could demand more than $1 million at this point...

Curtis Martin had serious longevity. Not denying that, that definitely makes him a top 10 back. I think Taylor was every bit as talented as Martin though.

Dolphins will be jumping from 1 list to the other once they cut Tannehill, Quinn, D. Parker, Amendola, and Sitton

    they'll have ~$65 million then

It's honestly incredible that two top contenders in the AFC have $74 mil+ in cap space, with the leading team already on their franchise QB's second contract

I'd potentially argue 3 at this point but I could see Texans being omitted

I’ve said that I get it but I actually kinda don’t and am worried lol

Maybe the estimate is considering the Jags to have signed Foles?
