I would pretty easily watch Thor 1 over Dark World. I'd prefer to watch neither of course

 

Yeah, Thor 1 isn't terrible exactly but watching it today it's really meh other than Loki (and even then, not peak Loki.) The Dark World will probably always remain the worst MCU. About as much of a slog as a CBM can be while still being under two whole hours long

 

I know everyone wants my Marvel takes again.

 

I kind of want this jacket and I'm not even a Marvel fan, haha

It looks cool.

 

The Dark World and IM2 are both worse than the first Thor. The first captain america is good.

 

Dark World is better than Thor 1. Thor 1 is so painfully dull, Dark World has some mildly interesting bits that make it marginally better. Iron Man 2 is better than both of them because no matter what else about the movie it at least has RDJ in it.

It's still not the worst one.

 

Excited to see this on Friday. Not expecting it to be my favorite Marvel movie, but I think this will be a cool character to see on the big screen.

Iron Man 2 is the worst Marvel Studios film by a large margin. I personally can't humor any other option. It's one of the least watchable comic book films I've seen, period.

 

I'd still rather watch IM2 than Hulk, Thor 1 & 2, and probably even IM3. I know some people love IM3, but I'm still kind meh on it.

 

I'll always give Thor 1 more of a pass because of the world and characters they had to establish, all which I think they did a good job. Thor 2 had the chance to hit the ground running after all the set up had been done, so I give that way less of a pass.

 

It's got some great comedy and a lot of cool action set pieces. Its totally watchable.

 

IM3 is awful ... but enough about that here's Goose the Cat.

 

What’s the best origin film though? Iron Man.

I really like Ant Man a ton, but yeah it's Iron Man for sure.

Edit: Just for the MCU though. If we talking about origin films period then it's Batman Begins.

 

I still like Iron Man 3 more than any movie w/ Avengers in its name.

Iron Man is pretty easily the best MCU origin film. As for origin films in general, Amazing Spider-Man is underappreciated for how it handled that well known story. And, if we're counting it in the conversation, Into the Spider-Verse is the real best origin film.

 

Still haven't seen IM2 and Hulk due to poor reviews.

But IM3 was a boring trainwreck and I left the drive-in halfway through. Thor 2 is probably the worst of the MCU films I've seen, but it was at least more entertaining than IM3

 

If Spiderverse counts it's spiderverse lol. I have a huge soft spot for the first cap film though

I really enjoyed IM3 in theatres so I’m afraid to ever re-watch it. So I’m just not gonna.
