Our QB is a Super Bowl winner but that doesn’t mean he’ll be good for us. Like, it could also be like the Eagles are his divorcee’ he still loves and we’re the toxic rebound relationship

 

Man, I might pull numbers from 2016 and 2017 to see the percentage split for us as to who has the ball more. I legit thought it was Zeke last year and was way off.

This is great though, means Dak shouldered more of the load and ended up pulling it off.

 

Okay but do keep in mind his coach when he won the super bowl is our OC.

 

Nick Foles is gonna lead the Jags to the Super Bowl and win another ring for the Eagles

 

Oh I do. That’s the main reason I’m fine with Foles. If we still had Hackett this move would be a DISASTER

 

DeFilippo also didn’t call plays for Philly though so that’s a concern. He was certainly underwhelming when he did have full OC responsibility, and had to work with a bad OL in Minnesota. We all expected more out of an offense with Cousins, Thielen and Diggs

 

But for real I feel like everyone's doing mostly good things except the Texans and it bums me out

This statement just is not true lol but Diggs and Thielen had over 1,000 yards, 100+ catches and 9 TD's what MORE do you want?

 

I just really hope Stafford has a bounce back year

 

Yeah but the rest of the offense did diddly... poo and Cousins had better numbers in Washington.

 

And shit Diggs and Thielen were actually even more dominant with Keenum before DeFilippo as well

 

Dak pass + rush plays percentage of overall snaps:

2016 - 54% (13-2 as starter, bye week in playoffs then lost the Divisional Round)
2017 - 56% (9-7 as starter, missed playoffs)
2018 - 62% (10-6 as starter, won in Wild Card Round then lost the Divisional Round)

Interesting.

 

Like my thing is if you have TWO top receivers and an above average QB why weren’t they a scary offense?? Minnesota got shut out TWICE last season

 

And he lost to Nick Foles.

 

Oh yes, Defilippo is bad.

 

So yeah it's good that he worked with Foles but he was a QB Coach then, as an OC he was underwhelming so far

I want to see how they rank in percentage of times they handled the ball.
