I'm actually very OCD and freak out when the top isn't filled up.

I continue to buy beer when I absolutely don't need to just to keep it fully stocked - which is why I buy on average two 6-packs a week, which leads to the lack of organization because I typically never drink the same beer twice in a row. Like, If I'm having 3 or 4 beers for the night, I drink a different kind each time, so over time, they all just mix and match in the fridge, especially when I continue to re-stock it.

Plus if someone takes a bottle from the middle, I demand they replace it with another bottle from the top, haha. Same with the cans all the way at the bottom.

So I'm going to Tampa/Orlando next week - any recommendations on breweries I should hit up anywhere around either city?

I've been to Cigar City, Coppertail, and Angry Chair in Tampa. Def hitting up CC again.

I live in Orlando and frequent breweries here and in Tampa Bay. What styles do you dig?

Pretty much any styles - current obsession are NE IPAs. Also into sours, saisons, porters/stouts. Really just about anything.

Motorworks in Bradenton is awesome, but it's about 50 minutes from Tampa

    Orlando:
Ellipsis - NE IPAs are their thing, and they're right by the airport.
Red Cypress - a bit of a hike into Winter Springs, but their stout releases have been turning heads for a lot of people this past year.
Ten 10 Brewing - a good deal closer to downtown than either of the previous two spots, and their stouts have been thick and delicious lately. They've got a blackberry coconut one on right now that's super rad.
Sideward - should be opening in the next week or so. I know they're pouring at Hunahpu's Day on Saturday. Their head brewer left Red Cypress to open his own brewery.

    Tampa / St Pete:
Cycle - definitely worth hitting if you're in the St Pete area. It's Tampa Bay Beer Week this week, so they're in the midst of dropping a different BA bottle every day.
Arkane Ale Works - one of my favorite spots, a little north of St Pete. Dude's running on a 3-5 barrel system and consistently has 20+ taps full. Sours, IPAs, NE IPAs, stouts, treatments of each, etc.
Rapp - near Arkane and where the brewer at Arkane came from. 40 taps, about half of it focused on more traditional styles, but they definitely do some more modern things, too.
Inoculum Ale Works - first sour only brewery in Florida. Love what they do.
Hidden Springs - Killing it with stouts, IPAs, and sours. One of my favorite places to go to in the area.
Garagiste - a meadery right around the block from Hidden Springs, only open on the weekends, but they're killing it.
Green Bench - if you're looking for saisons and some FL IPAs, this is your spot. They're even hosting a Foeder event this week for the Beer Week.

That should give you a good start!

This is super helpful, I appreciate it!

I'm hitting Cycle for sure - just looked it up and its 2 blocks away from the place I'm going for brunch over the weekend (The Mill).

I'm gonna map out some of the other ones you recommended and see which I can hit. I'm amped

Eventbrite better be ready for all that traffic on Sunday. That sounds amazing and the packaging is sleek as hell.

Sounds like they found the loophole to not being allowed to just dump liquor in a beer and just kept adding it to barrels to get more bourbon in haha

It does sound pretty good though, and yeah that packaging is slick

I traded three Tired Hands Only Void (Single Origin) cans, one Tired Hands Rose Panna Cotta Milkshake can, and one Tired Hands PUNGE for a bottle of Fundamental Observation and a can of Sloth Loves Chunk (Aslin/Bottle Logic collab) and it was 100% worth it. I hope you get to try it eventually!

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Finally found a new bottle shop around here after moving. Probably going to head there this afternoon on my lunch break to stock up since it's been a while since I've tried anything beyond shelf beers and visiting breweries nearby in Virginia. Not to say those are bad.
