Won my first match in Apex Legends yesterday. Having good squad members makes such a big difference. It still felt weird because we had like only five kills combined.

 

i’ve one won game but feel like i am constantly coming in second. i totally blew it/panicked and cost my team a win the other night when it was down to me and one other guy. backed out to lobby asap and marinated in shame.

They took all the Borderlands 2 soundtracks off all streaming and iTunes that I can find. Went to play it yesterday while I was doing some boring stuff at work and was severely disappointed. It was just up a month ago. One con of streaming since you don't own at bit of it.

EDIT: It's all still on Tidal of all things. Not cool.

I’m not sure if y’all play Pinball FX3 but Zen Studios acquired the rights to the Williams/Bailey pinball tables and they’ve been releasing packs of recreated tables. They just announced a new one today, can’t wait to play Theater of Magic with their physics engine.

didn't realize how close we were to Sekiro releasing. that'll definitely be the next big game I pick up. impressions are looking good.

 

DMC5 getting raves, good to see. Despite loving DmC, I was glad to see a return to the OG timeline, so I'm glad it turned out well.

 

It looked great from the get go, I would have been shocked if it ended up being bad. Very excited for it despite not being very good at the series haha

DMC5 reviews have me extremely hyped. Preordered it in August before Amazon’s preorder incentive thing changed so I’m glad that choice is working out in my favor

 

I’ve mentioned it before but I really am glad a lot of video game reviewers are starting to move towards this idea of group reviews. I love hearing multiple opinions on the game and it sparks more actual exploring the game.

 

I have never liked solo reviews. It's why I watch review shows or listen to those type of podcasts.

 

Growing up I used to love the one game magazine that did a "Second Opinion" attached to the real review, just a short, 1-2 paragraph blurb with its own score. I think Electronic Gaming Monthly used to do that? It was them, GamePro, or GameInformer and I can't remember which.

 

Came in to share the DMC5 hype. Looks like I’m too late!


Really sad now I’ve onky played like 3 hours of 2 when I was a kid. People say that’s the worst one.

 

DMC's microtransactions are... uhh... something.

I would definitely recommend trying to play the others.

 

It's been so long since DMC4. I remember being so hyped the day that game came out, it was a huge release for me after how much I adored DMC3.
