God I fucking hate LA. I have to stop somewhere before my show and it’s only 7 miles from the venue and will take over 35 minutes to get from point A to point B. Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like that’s a long time for that distance

 

That’s absurd

When I was in LA last I was staying by the staples center and took a Lyft to dodger stadium, I think it was around 10 miles but took us 35 minutes

 

What show?

I was in LA last summer and ubered everywhere but yeah it's basically the NY of the west coast, traffic constantly and too many fucking people making it take forever to get anywhere.

 

Yeah, it’s trash. The Bay Area is pretty much just as bad now too.

Also, do you people in the NY area have cars or nah? I’ve heard a lot of people say they are pretty much unnecessary there with how good the subway system is

 

Most people in NYC have no car

 

I mean one of the main reasons I want to move to seattle (/a city) is to be able to not have a car

 

in the NYC area no one should have a car, in the suburbs there's no real public transportation, there are buses but it's not really feasible

 

I read every single one of your posts in the same cadence as Tarzan and it never fails to make me smile no matter how serious or intelligible your post is

 

I live outside the city so a car is absolutely necessary, we have trash public transportation here. If I lived in the city I would never own a car unless I was mad rich and could afford $500 a month to park it in a garage.

I've heard of Daughters but never listened to them. I'll check them out.

 

The town I just moved to is great though, I can walk to eat/drink hang out so I am very happy, which is one reason I've wanted to move to another country/west coast town. One day I will but for now our new place is dope.
