Went and bought the disc last night, love that the sticker says "they're doing some cool things right now" - Todd, Weezer ride or die hahaha

 

Yeah I personally don't need to pick and choose from the last 4 but Make Believe through Hurley I only listen to a playlist

am I the only one who digs that bonus track All My Friends Are Insects. It's so.fucking.catchy

 

Doing the math, it’s even more baffling to me now that people are calling me out for not liking the band. I dislike MB, Red and Rad like literally everyone else, enjoy Hurley, which most people don’t, and find EWBA and PD to be boring. I’m really only being harsh about this one, which is absolute dogshit

 

No one was calling you out. You called yourself out. You literally said ‘post-Mala just isn’t for me’ and then continued to argue with people for an entire day.

What an odd review.....I personally think High as a Kite is a highlight of new era Weezer.

 

It's early but right now I think it's my favorite Weezer song since Maladroit

This album is catchy as hell

 

"Ruling Me" was always my favorite when it came out, but I think I'm with you now. Those are definitely the two highlights for me

 

I think it's funny how in hindsight "Raditude" got so much shit for being so "pop," yet in comparison to a lot of the things they're doing now it really isn't. There are a lot of heavy guitar jams on that album, and now the fans who were complaining then are complaining about the lack of distortion on the new stuff haha

I just got my vinyl copy in the mail......it came with a mat black spork. No note or explanation given lol

Also I got the clear vinyl with black splatter. It looks pretty damn sexy.

I’m Just Being Honest sounds like the best of Make Believe

 

Yep, the intro is too hard for me to take seriously and kind of ruins it

Wow, I did not expect to like this album less than Pacific Daydream... I'm gonna give it a few more days but so far the only songs that are really sticking with me are the singles

 

After a few days with this I still really only go back tracks 5-8. I like Pacific Daydream way more as a whole.

Been listening to the White album too. Time for them to go back to that Weezer after two experimental albums and a cover album lol.

 

I listened to the white album and PD today too. White is just worlds above both, it’s such a great package!

 

One cover album later, "Viva La Vida" is still my favorite Weezer cover
