I actually loathe baseball commentary. They're almost never talking about the game. There are some good commentators but most of them I completely detest.

Football has some bad ones too but I dislike the art of baseball commentating a ton

 

I really was a pitcher tho, 14-3 in high school Varsity NO BIG DEAL I COULDA THROWN A FOOTBALL OVER THEM MOUNTAINS

 

I dont dislike baseball at all but Chase's takes of things he dislikes about football are all things I dislike about baseball

 

Nothing more fun watching the Red Sox kill the Yankees in the middle of a thunder storm (true story)

 

Yeah I’m firmly in the “no interest in any sports” camp.
One of my favorite things about my ex is that he’s not into sports at all. Lol. Because when your partner is, you end up being brought into it. Which is okay when you’re in it but if I’m being truthful I just much prefer a life without it lol

Maybe I like a little diversion mixed in with my stats haha. There's only so much you can say during a long at bat

 

i haven’t watched it but i love that AAF removed kicks from the game of American football so that there is really no trace of foot left in the sport other than ya know traversal. take that, soccer

Plus again football is loud which is my least favorite thing

I still pick Hockey as my favorite sport to watch.

there is a new football league that has removed punts/field goals/etc, so the foot never comes in contact with the ball, but they still call it football. it’s just a perfect portrait of American hubris.

 

Hockey is great. I wish watching it was more accessible so I could get into it more than just who's on our team

 

My ex ex (lmao)’s family was rly into baseball so we went to Rays games a lot over the years. Like going as a group and the whole experience is fun/exciting but there’s always typically a LOT more going on than just the game. Watching it on tv sounds terrible
But I will say i like in general that it’s less contact/aggressive... also I can kinda see what chase is saying (I think?) like what’s going on in baseball is always super clear and obvious and easy to follow but football and basketball and soccer can end up being this fast paced blur of mush of bodies. Like it’s def so different.

Favorite league to watch: NCAA Basketball
Favorite league to go to games for: NHL

 

If the NBA quits calling everything a foul and gets rid of like 4 teams they'll be my favorite league to watch
