    Maybe I'll like Ohio's better.

2005 was my first year and I did see The Offspring, Thrice and The Starting Line that year. I mean obviously it's no MCR or Fall Out Boy but we basically knew Kevin wasn't getting them since those bands didn't give a shit about Warped after they blew up. They just so happened to be on it when they blew up.

Maybe if NJ Warped sucks TIHC will be stacked and the East Coast will have at least one insane festival

I don't know, sometimes I feel Kevin is all lip service.

Yeah, I do remember seeing them too. I had a feeling he wouldn't get MCR or FOB but was still hoping to maybe see him pull some other possible reunion type bands...maybe The Academy Is, Rufio, Motion City

We knew from the get-go this wouldn't be a traditional Warped experience; People who go to the show to get into smaller bands and be a part of this culuture were always going to be alienated this year, because the only sustainable marketing would be based on nostalgia, big names, and getting non-warped fans to come out.

Getting blink-182, Taking Back Sunday & ADTR already makes it on par with a pop-punk version of a normal hard rock festival. We also get old favorites like The Starting Line, Valencia Man Overboard and punk bands like Bad Relogion & Quicksand. Then it appeals to modern fans with Set It Off, Sleeping With Sirens, Andy Black & Wage War. Plus all the classics like Four Year Strong, Good Charlotte, Reel Big Fish, Simple Plan, We The Kings etc. PLUS 311 & The Offspring will get mainstream alt fans in the door.

Only thing missing is modern Metalcore, HxC & PHC bands, but it makes sense they're shifting their focus away from that.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this lineup. There are 26 bands/artists I'd LOVE to see. This is a great bill.

Another thing to remember is Kevin said there are 5 stages with 40-50 bands playing per day and there are only 50ish bands on that poster so there’s more to come.

There is def a lack of heavy bands though, something that has always been a staple at warped tour.

That lineup is absolutely unreal and fantastic. The more I look at it the more I want to go.

How much money do you think he had to throw at these lineups? You’re insane if you thought the lineup would be drastically different than it is

If you’re disappointed with that lineup I honestly don’t know who they could’ve added to make it better.

Yeah, I don't understand how anyone could be upset with that tbh.

I think there is a section of newer fans who want Knocked Loose & Vein, as well new-wave pop punk bands like Hot Mulligan & Homesafe.

    Just not me, lol.

My friend is actually pretty upset at the lack of heavy bands, he said it’s a lineup of bands that tour all the time, there are no “special” bands for a weekend that will cost someone $400-$500 a person total, and he said it’s an old lineup. So there are people, he already wants to sell his ticket.

Tell him to hit me up because I'm seriously considering doing this, haha.

Kevin did say he focused on the first 2/3 of Warped's history (pre 2010) and there were a lot less heavy bands then on the tour.

That line-up is way better than I would have anticipated - and a pretty great cross-section of the the tour over the years (from the 90s through mid-2000s, anyway).

Still not convinced it's worth the trek down to Atlantic City, but... It's better than expected.
