Any time someone says they’ve just started, I get a feeling that I can’t explain. Nostalgia, excitement, confusion, exhaustion, and anxiety all at once.

I'm on S2E6 right now and I'm already experiencing this a bit lol, I think I'm still doing a pretty good job though

Halfway through S4 and I think I'm liking each season more than the last, this is so fucking good (obviously lol)

Unfortunately I kind of already know most of what happens due to being on the internet all these years but it's not affecting my enjoyment at all

 

Just got to season 4 on my rewatch. The Red Wedding is still so good.

 

S4 was the best one yet, holy shit at like the entire last half of the season

The only dip in quality around that time was all the religious shit. Other than that, I think the show only gets better.

 

I found season 6 pretty boring as a whole, however, episode 9 and 10 are probably my favorite episodes in the show.

 

Dorne is a travesty

 

I look at certain story lines to be “not as good” as the rest of the AMAZING show we’re watching m.

So when those story lines come up in conversation, it’s not that they’re bad to me, but not as good as the rest. And honestly, as cool as the more fleshed out Dorne storyline would be, I think if that’s the worst they had to cut down/change for the grander scheme of what’s going on, I can live with it.

 

I underdstand that the books and show cant be the same but they didn't really cut down so much as change the entire themes and tone.

Yeah watched the first 4 of S5 today and it was noticeably really slow... assuming it picks back up in the back half of the season though?



Also is Jaime supposed to be like in my top 3 characters? He's an asshole but I can't help but like him lol

 

Just finished catching up today. Season 5 is defintely iffy or frustrating at times due to the faith bullshit, but everything pays off in the end and it's well worth the lull. Honestly the only storyline that drags and could have been more concise for me is Arya.

 

Jaime rules. He’s probably my favorite character.

Although, I love Davos.

 

Yep the religious shit and her very, very prolonged story does slow it does.

However as we all know, in the end everything is worth it.
