Ruling Me is a jam and I really like Unspoken, Run Away and Hang On. Unspoken may be my favorite from that 4 album stretch of some hits, mostly misses lol.

I haven’t heard Hurley since 2010

 

Hurley is in the top half of their albums. I’m not having this argument again!

It was definitely like a first step back in the right direction even though for me my feelings kinda group it in with the three before it

 

It's astonishing to remember everything he has a hand in... the new Jenny Lewis album, Butch Walker's Afraid of Ghosts.... Weezer, Fall Out Boy... it goes on

 

They also worked with Dr. Luke on Raditude but that album sucks so who cares

 

Only Weezer would title an album after a Lost character, have that characters face as the album cover, and have a special line of clothing/merch from a popular clothing brand of the same name. Hurley was a funny era.

My Weezer conspiracy theory is that they signed the deal with Hurley before the album came out and part of the agreement was that they would name their album after the company and putting Jorge Garcia on the cover was their way of avoiding seeming like giant sellouts
