The Podcast The Ride City Walk Saga is so good

 

Can I just listen to those episode? I tried listening to the first few episodes of the podcast and wasn’t super into it.

 

Hmm. I’m not sure. It takes a little bit to pick up on their personalities/sense of humor. I can compile a few favorite episodes prior. Some eps are boring to me because I really don’t give a shit about theme parks, but their love for fucking stupid, tacky shit is so good

 

I definitely wouldn't recommend that if you had no interest in the show, I don't think you'd enjoy it.

 

If either of you could give me a few episodes to listen to it would be much appreciated.

Failed Parks is probably my favorite. There’s also an early ep where Jason tells a story about vultures terrorizing Disney and then accidentally being cooked alive in a metal shed which is insane and probably the moment I fell in love with the show

 

I can't remember if you're a Bug Mane fan or not, but you can try his episode which is the Great Movie Ride. I'm mostly interested in the Disney episodes. Honestly it's kind of a boring show and I use it to de-stress, the guys are just pleasant and funny, if you're not interested in theme parks I'm not sure if you'll get much out it. It's not like Doughboys or U2 where it's entertaining despite the topic.

Actually running through the CWSaga for the first time now (on Sector 6), this could potentially be a good entryway. Short(er) episodes with stores people know, solid bits that begin on the first ep, and a good showing of the boys’ personalities. Well, Jason vs Scott & Mike anyway. It took me so long to get Scott and Mike’s voices right in my head.

Is the main reason I gave the show more than one chance. Well worth it to become familiar with Mike and Jason

 

its one of my favorite podcasts but that’s probably because I’ve been obsessed with theme parks since I was a kid

 

I still have trouble with Scott and Mike's voices.

 

I don't give a shit about theme parks, but I've listened to a handful of episodes, mainly to hear Wiger talk about a parking structure. It's not a podcast I'd listen to weekly, but I've enjoyed what I've heard.

 

Yeah, it's not one that I find myself crying laughing to, but I also really enjoy their rapport with each other. It's one of the only podcasts where I don't really care if there's a guest or not because I like the hosts that much. I also don't give a shit about any of the rides/parks they talk about, so I find myself zoning out when they get into the nitty gritty. That's probably why I like their episodes about horrible theme parks/bizarre attractions the best.

I don't know how, but it's become the only thing that I listen to after I catch up on Doughboys/TFO. It's like comfort food.
