I do like pulled pork and chicken for the most part. I feel like chuck roast is like more tough?? Idk. Maybe I’m wrong lmao or just have had bad ones like it’s fefinitely the kinda thing I end only had when at someone’s house and they prepared it. I’ve never cooked it obv and never ordered it at a restaurant or anything so it’s possible I’ve just not had it badly prepared lol

Totally and part of it was that growing up for sure. But I didn’t know how to express growing up what it was that I couldn’t handle in food so people make it out to be like it’s just you not trying stuff. Once I got out of that shell I’ve tried loads of shit. And now I’m just better at being able to tell when the texture of something won’t agree with me

 

i make one with ketchup, apricot preserves, brown sugar and some Worcestershire sauce. so damn good.
