I have to do homework and my makeup which are both time consuming and idk how the day is already so late!! Time has slipped away I think partially cause it’s been raining and dreary all day.
Idk about you but it makes me so lethargic and just wanna be lazy and smoke and cuddle up with Pote

Anyway I’m procrastinating and even though I have like 6+ hours to do both those things and I only need about ~3 I’m still like ahhh I have so much to do and so little time to do it

And that’s why I don’t get anything done ever.

 

Going tk el paso tomorrow and I'm not even close to ready.

 

sounds like me on a Sunday when I have to do laundry and clean the apartment.

 

Getting rid of my procrastination habit was the single best thing to get me through college. Being on top of my work and getting it done early was critical.

That being said it took 2 failed college attempts and the killing off of my social life to figure that shit out.

Yeaaaaah that will probably never be me lol. Like I feel so good when I get shit done even a day early, but I just don’t ever do it. The assignment I have to do today is legit 2 days late which is the max you can turn it in. So yeah. That’s me. Lol

 

I call mine mount laundry and it's just a pile of laundry on top of a futon.

I like to have everything cleaned up and put away before bed and then again before I head to work. That why we can both come home and just relax and make dinner or whatever.

but I tell you one thing, depression is a serious procrastinator and I cannot believe how I let a lot of things go over the summer. I hated putting laundry away, which was never an issue for me before, the dishes would pile up in the sink (even though we have a dishwasher) and my poor fiance would come home and do it all (clean, cook, food shopping). Kinda hate myself for putting him through that. When I look back on it I can't believe I let the sadness and whatever it was going on in my head make me that way. I know for a fact that any other man would have left me during this time.

I am one lucky girl.

 

I am glad you feel lucky and it’s reallt sad you feel that someone would leave you for that. It’s an extremely common symptom of mental illness and I personally think if someone loves you they love you thru your illness but that’s just me

Also yeah hella fair to say that my house neglect is 100% rooted in depression. And my ex (who basically has lived with me for 2 years on and off) never does anything either. So. It is what it is.

 

@CobraKidJon sometimes you’ll text me when I’m showing friends something on my phone and they’re always like “you know a dude named cobra?”

 

Its a lot more common than I thought. I've been seeing a commercial on TV for a medication for the exact kind of depression we are talking about (there are so many that If i didn't smoke pot, I'd probably be on like 7 different pills..ugh no thanks). Not saying meds don't help others, cause I know for a fact that they do, but I couldn't stand being on Zoloft anymore and I was tired of not feeling any kind of emotion. Now I feel everything, but I've learned to work through it better.
