Never played any of the Watchdogs, only heard they were disappointing and repeated use of the buzzword ‘downgrade’. While London is an exciting prospect as a Brit, I would vibe way harder with a The Getaway reboot. Early ads for the PS3 effectively lied about its existence and I’ve never gotten over that.

 

I thought Watch_Dogs was a fine but forgettable game. Didn't hate it but I haven't thought about it at all since I played it back when it first came out. Never played Watch_Dogs 2 despite hearing it was much better. Maybe I'll go back and check it out if the new one winds up looking good.

 

The second was very different in almost every aspect, and very enjoyable.

Finished the Witcher 3. Remembered most of the decisions you’re supposed to make for good endings but forgot one side quest I had to do so I ended up with a half good half bad ending. Now to grind out 3 levels and start blood and wine for the first time. I got like halfway through hearts of stone when it came out and I really do not remember enjoying it but I’ll try again after blood and wine

 

I really enjoyed Watch Dogs 2, and I hated WD1

 

I had a $25 gift card to game stop I got for christmas. I was waiting for witcher 3 collection to go on sale and it did for $20. That is a steal for a game i'll never play.

It is astounding. Apparently there are two THQ Nordics: one of them a private company registered in Austria, and the other one a publicly traded one in Sweden, the latter being the parent of the first one. A little odd. I wonder who exactly does what.

 

I am glad this is happening. Two days without something historically stupid happening in the games industry is too long.
