About tonight's Raw, if the plan is for Becky to somehow beat up on Ric Flair, I'm wondering if the crowd reaction isn't more mixed than they intend (if not downright negative). They're in Atlanta, Ric Flair never really got booed, even when paired up with Charlotte during her previous heel runs, and we're still not that far removed from Ric Flair almost dying. Plus it's the old man's birthday!

Whereas, if Charlotte decides to heel it up on Ric again and Becky somehow makes the save for Flair, I could see that going over HUGE. Even though Ric cost her matches against Charlotte in the past.

Not saying that aligning with Charlotte isn't a heel move, but I don't think its necessarily a turn because its expected and already within the Ric Flair character. Either way, I think he's getting Armbar'd by Becky

Or Becky saves him and then he turns on her after that

 

It's his big birthday celebration so he naturally is gonna be a face for that, otherwise I could understand

 

They are going to use Ric to set up the Batista angle

 

I think this is the only way anything with Becky and Ric works if the plan is to get Charlotte more heat and Becky more support. Charlotte and Ric essentially have to con Becky into helping Ric out, only for Ric to then turn on Becky at the end of it too. No body wants to boo Ric Flair, even when he's a general bad guy doing bad things. But if you manipulate the crowd to think he's with Becky, only to swerve it, then you might get the reaction you want in this situation.

Also, keep Ronda as far away as possible from all of this tonight.

 

TBH when ric retired and they had that ceremony I thought he was gonna turn heel there too

 

You can have Ronda show up as if she's making the save and wait in the ring until it clears, once it does she attacks Becky on her own.


0 chance that happens because they want her to remain a face tho

 

I like that the best way to make a feud that involves Ronda good is to keep Ronda out of the angle until the match.
