Bert is 1000% charisma onstage. I saw him at the Chicago Theatre and he had the audience in his palm.

 

Yes. I heard him in a recent interview basically say that he'd never perform with his shirt on again (outside of hosting the Oscars or something like that)

The only time I saw armisen he basically cut his set short because no one was laughing. I felt bad for him cause he was in front of thousands of people, but the show was pretty terrible.

 

I went in, not really knowing what to expect. I LOVE Portlandia and most of his other projects but thought his Netflix special was kinda hit or miss. He's much better at sketch than he is at standup but he was good last night. The material was similar to his Netflix special but seemed more tightened up and he had new material that fit in well and was fun. He showed a clip of a new show he's in with Tim Heidecker and John C Reilly about 3 idiots trying to be astronauts which looked funny. It was a good time but without Mary Lynn performing too, I probably would've been a little disappointed had I paid $50 a ticket (I got in at a discount through a deal with the promoter)

tangentially related but i’m glad Zouks still isn’t on the social media train. i feel like guys like he and Nathan Fielder stand out a lot more because they’re not overexposed and jumping on easy bits every day. i know Nathan is on Twitter but he’s not super active. i like how much more of a mystery those two are from your average comedian.

 

The CBB plugs submission was amazing and then Paul Fart Burp Cop killed me.

 

Zouks had some good intel on being social media-less on Raised By TV a few weeks ago. It only made me wanna quit everything even more.

 

Dr. Gameshow got picked up by Max Fun. It's back on March 13th and I couldn't be happier.

Max Fun is a great fit. Makes more sense than Earwolf honestly.

 

Though I haven’t listened to the show yet, I’m ecstatic for Jo and definitely gonna follow the new iteration. She’s a treasure
