Wtf this is so good

 

really good song

 

This album is going to go so hard I can't wait.

 

I pre ordered this album. I'm ready for some summer jams from them. If you told me ten years ago The Maine would be one of my favorite bands I'd give you an eye roll.

 

not as into this one as "Numb Without You," but that bridge is stellar

I can definitely see myself enjoying this more in the context of the full LP

 

I'm literally just listening on repeat right now, this has everything I like about the Maine

 

this band is very quickly becoming my favorite band.

Ya I've listened to the new song 20 times. I like it now.

 

I can't find any desire to listen to any other song right now. Only 5 weeks to go... I can do this. Crossing my fingers for a nice Spring day on March 29th.

He really sounds like Matty in that bridge. Which is not a bad thing.

I was thinking that The Who Are You line and melody was a callback to Where Were You in Do You Remember but is prob a coinicidence

Supposedly there are three separate drum tracks that run through the song. Such a good decision to go with Squire on this record.

 

friend of a friend is their photographer, said that they're doing like a parking lot tour this summer where theyre playing in venue parking lots and that the wonder years are involved (???)

I’ll actually cry if the Maine do a summer tour of parking lots with the Wonder Years opening

 

Or co headlining or whatever it is

Def entails asphalt, lots and lots of asphalt

 

I remember their free tour during American Candy era. The San Diego show was at an outside bar/community corner lot downtown. It was fucking awesome and free. Well, we still paid for whatever alcohol and food truck grub, but the concert was free.

I will never forget that show.
