What the fuck. I was literally just telling someone yesterday about going to the last Comedy Death Ray show where he did a set and spent three minutes of it not telling jokes and asking me about baseball spring training locations in Florida. What a bummer.

Brody was one of those comedians that all other comedians always spoke highly of. RIP

 

God damn, suicide. So fucking awful

 

I don't know how many TV show audiences I've been a part of that Brody warmed up, it was always a sight, and BELIEVE IT you would see a word for word reenactment of his scene in the Hangover. The last Summahfest he missed because he forgot the date, but showed up after the show and entertained the crowd in the parking lot for an hour. Always a strange, kind jolt of POSITIVE ENERGY.

Brody and Harris were so open about their struggles but also pure and it's a bummer they're gone

 

I binged Enjoy It while eating multiple cups of italian ice and it was one of the better days of my life

I regularly quote "push and believe!" and "positive energy!" to myself. It's just great to speak in his cadence. Fuck, this sucks.

 

Ugh that video just made me tear up.

Oh no! Man that's so sad. He really was a legend. His bizarre alt-light turn over the last few years was extremely sad to see though... I wish there was a better way to deal with mental health in this country.

 

I loved his TV show so much and could never find it. Any links?

 

I'm so fucking torn up over Brody. Fuck. Legitimately nobody like him. He was so troubled but had the capacity to be one of the most positive people on the planet.

 

I always thought Brody came off really unlikable. Some of the interviews where he would freak out for no reason were really offputting. Its nice seeing so much love for him.

 

Of course the r/movies thread about Brody is terrible I should have known better

 

Seeing Fred Armisen and Bert Kreischer tonight. Two separate shows. Stoked!!

 

I always attributed it to his poor mental state of mind honestly. I always thought he meant well though.

 

Armisen was alright but the real treat was when Mary Lynn Rajskub came out and did a tight 20 of stand up. Then I drove 10 minutes away and watched Kreischer CRUSH. Great night.
