I can't believe no one has picked them up in the states, it's criminal.

I cannot wait for this one.

Never heard of these guys before, but based on the three new songs released, they are definitely on my radar from now on. Their previous albums any good?

Drag it down on you was one of my favorites of 2016, it’s definitely worth a listen

this is quite different from drag. that album had plenty of quiet moments but this one is even more downtempo. none of the singles are super indicative of the sound here I don't think, they're all easily the loudest songs on here, but I think kiss me crying is the most representative of the three. I think 3 or 4 songs have strings. I don't believe there's a single scream on here at all. definitely much more positive lyrically as well. penultimate track is my favorite on first listen

I like the growth from IDWTBABH to Drag so I imagine I'll like this as well. as you spend more time with it, please continue to share your thoughts! I'd honestly love an acoustic-y album from Tom.

definitely will do. theres 2 (iirc) acoustic songs on here, but neither is just tom and a guitar

love it. going back and listening to IDWTBABH again and "Jam Song" is just such a good opener.

Trying a new thing where I avoid all singles on albums I’m excited for, but all that info has me excited!!

a lot of the songs on drag had a similar structure where the first chorus slows the song down a bit and then the second chorus gets real loud and shit. hotelier does that a lot too. they don't really do that as much here but they've got a new structure they play around with a lot on this record
