I think it helps, especially if we have a good senate candidate in TX (beto please run for Cornyns seat)
Think it would help GA too even. Hopefully Abrams runs for that senate seat.

This seems pretty bad for Warren. I get that most of her supporters would be sanders supporters tough.

I wanted ranked voting in the primaries!

It's because Massachusetts busses all those voters into NH

Heh, I mean NH is full of old people and conservatives so I can't say I'm too surprised that Biden is leading on that list. A huge problem is that millennials have been moving away from the state during or after college. And UNH is the most expensive public school in the country so it isn't a huge selling point for college kids.

But I think some would be surprised just how many conservative millennials and generation-z kids there are here, even LGBT folks

Real shit, somehow my info got into the hands of some right wing propaganda group because I would get mail about GOP stuff and I would get texts asking me how I felt about Trump. Needless to say, I sent some strong worded texts back and then it stopped.

A former student of mine is at UNH and she's a bernie person I think. She's a very...unique...kid haha. She rocks platform shoes all the time.

Also, off topic, we may end up staying a night along the NH coast on our way up to Acadia in a couple months...any recs on places to stay or places to eat? It's all gonna be chance based on how far we can get in one night of driving, but I'm eyeing up anywhere from the Hampton area to Kittery in Maine just as a good middle spot to stop. I'd like to push further than that but not sure we'll have the time.

Good question! I live about 20 mins from Kittery and 30 mins from Hampton so I am pretty familiar with the area.

First, I'd say avoid Hampton Beach. It's really crowded and overrated, most locals hate it heh. However, the Hampton Casino Ballroom is a nice little concert venue that's all GA. If you're going in the warmer months, York Beach and Ogunquit in Maine are beautiful. The Nubble Lighthouse in York is a really nice view.

Between Kittery and Hampton outside of beaches, I'd say Portsmouth NH is a great place to be. Lots of bars, restaurants, some cobblestone streets and sidewalks. Lots of places that you can walk around and ocean view restaurants. It's hard to recommend one single place because there's a lot to do there. Thirsty Moose has over 60 beers on tap, Flatbread Pizza is really cool because they cook in a brick-oven pizza in front of everyone, and then there are nice ocean-view restaurants like Martingale Wharf. If you're into a fun club vibe, The Gaslight is cool too.

Dover NH has a nice little downtown too with lots of bars and restaurants close together, easier parking, and no real cover charges at the bars. I kind of like it because it's smaller and less busy than Portsmouth, but depends on my mood.

I'm less familiar with Kittery, but they have outlet malls that are pretty popular. I also did a ropes course at a place called Take Flight as a team-building exercise at my old job and had a blast with it.

In terms of places to stay, it's hard to recommend a hotel or something since I live in the area unfortunately. Dover is most likely cheaper than Portsmouth or Kittery and very close to both.
