Has anyone ever heard of or flown on Frontier airlines? I was looking at flights the other day and saw some cheap round trip flights for them lol

 

just get one of everything.

 

I live close to Illadelphia and I'm traveling to Denver. Southwest & United have hubs in Denver and American has a hub here. My patriotism, or lack there of, has nothing to do with it.

 

They're a budget carrier. I've never flown them personally, but I heard they tend to nickle & dime you on everything.

 

Alaska airlines seems to be making big moves and branching out. No idea if they fly to colorado ville yet.

 

that's actually what I flew to and fro Denver on. was fine. no real complaints. it's a cheap airline, nothing fancy, but it was fine

Yeah I would do research before flying frontier. If you know what to expect it should be fine but a lot of people are surprised by “hidden fees” and stuff.
Also yeah like I think it was Trav said, it’s deff no frills.

 

I see there's no free carry on which would really be the only thing for me, but not a huge deal. Any other weird fees?

 

Kaitie and I usually take frontier or spirit at least one way when we visit each other and aside from some weird seatmates, it's perfectly fine for shorter trips. They have cheap tickets but if you wanna bring a full size carry on or checked bag, that's where they make their money. We both have large backpacks or bags we use that make the "personal item" size limit so we've never had to pay for baggage.

 

I flew Frontier to Denver and it was fine, however I packed all my clothes and stuff in a backpack to avoid having to pay to check a bag
