As a person I like LeBron, but when it comes to basketball I can't stand him.

 

Yeah cause Pippen, Rodman, Grant all sucked ass

 

Lebron is an extremely likable human being. He wants to win basketball games and doesn't want to play with children. Sue him.

 

As a 15 year old in Ohio I was pretty crushed by the decision at the time. Maybe it’s just because he came back, or time healing wounds, or my own maturation, but it really wasn’t a terrible thing to do

 

oh I agree...I get why people dislike him

I just think strictly as a player on the court, he would dominate Michael Jordan. I'm not sure there is one thing that Jordan did better than Lebron can. I guess shoot free throws?

 

Yeah he totally wants to win, that's why he went to LA.

 

AD is at worst the third best basketball player in the world right now. Hell yeah I try and get that on my team.

 

I think that LeBron may be the better team player and that's more of a requirement in modern basketball than it was back in the day

But if 30-year-old LeBron played 30-year-old Jordan one-on-one I definitely think Jordan would win. It's just his lightning fast instincts and reflexes. He just knew how to catch opponents on their heels and surprise them. & I'd give his acceleration / short-area quickness a 99.

MJ can't be the GOAT when he won't even get his kids his own shoes.

 

Chris Long is cool and all but he doesn't touch what Lebron has meant to millions and millions of kids.

 

I won’t dispute this on merit but I’m guessing 90% of young football fans couldn’t pick Chris Long out of a lineup

 

LeBron is much better down low. Jordan is a better defender everywhere else on the court though.

 

I know and agree, and it makes me sad. He's such a good dude.

LeBron is better at understanding how to use his teammates though. That's a huge plus for me. He's learned to be an amazing passer / amazing at assists and that's why I'm willing to concede he's better at the team sport of basketball.

Lebron is obviously better than MJ. But, I don't care. MJ is MJ. The entire shoe game is built on MJ. If MJ kicked my mother in the shins i'd apologize to him for her being in the way.
