He will admit he’s wrong in regular daily life, yes. He’s better about that than me generally.

I think he has much more confidence / stubbornness in his opinions about football specifically though.

 

the thing is I trust Chris Grier and Marvin Allen to run the draft

they have had some home run draft classes in the recent past

Oh I mean I’ve always liked / respected Belicheck’s coaching skill and sarcastic personality. I hate the Pats and the fact they ruin the whole AFC, but can’t deny they have an awesome coach.

Jax suburbs can get pretty bad but I never go to the outer edge of town, really. For some reason downtown Jax has a lot less traffic than suburbs like, Orange Park, Mandarin, & the beaches.

 

I also watched some Randy Moss highlights recently and yeah. He is solidly #2 all time behind Rice. No one else even comes close to those two imo. You can put T.O. , Calvin, AB, Fitz in the next tier but there's definitely a gap.

For some reason I remembered Moss burning players downfield & scoring all kinds of touchdowns, but the highlight video reminded me he was a stud at jumping over people for the ball too. I didn't think of him as a physical possession WR because he was so slender and so fast, like I was content viewing him as just the fastest receiver of all time.

But damn he would sky over double coverage, reach his long ass arms through defenders who got there first & looked like they had the INT, pluck the ball with one hand, get both feet barely inbounds and make it all look fucking easy.

Such a ridiculous dual threat. NOBODY could jump with him on jump balls. Let alone his ridiculous 4.25 sec 40 yard dash at 6'4".

 

T.O. is the second best WR imo.

 

Rice > Moss > T.O. >>>>>>>>>>>>> everyone else

 

Don't get me wrong Moss is a monster but nothing beats watching T.O. going up the middle taking a monster hit and holding on to the ball.

 

The crazy thing about how good Moss was is that he probably wasn't playing to his full potential

 

Eh. TO was scary but he still played in 28 more games than Moss, and ended up with only 700 more yards and 3 FEWER touchdowns.

I watched TO's highlights recently too, they're impressive but Moss has a lot more highlights where he dominated bracket coverage by 2 defenders. Moss was much faster, and also better hand-eye coordination.
