I gave a reason for not saying it and admitted my mistake and misplaced intentions in doing so in the first place. You not accepting that because you're upset about not getting information that may not even be true doesn't entitle you to put words in my mouth or make my intentions any different then what they were.

Sorry you're upset, I shouldn't have said anything, but honestly, if I knew it would have gone this way I wouldn't have. I'll be moving on now, if you're pissed at me that's fine but I didn't mean to upset anyone.

Sorry I fell asleep. Apparently there was a comment on FB about a person who went to the show the other night and witnessed Tom there. Take it with a grain of salt, I was just ASSUMING that was the rumor the person may have been trying to talk about.

 

Theoretically speaking, could Tom get a different bassist and a drummer and start performing as blink 182?

Not that I think he will or want him to. It would just be funny.

 

Tom is not coming back, at least not this cycle. Don't be silly people.

 

They need at least another album with Skiba so they can do one with a full-on The Cure/Heavens/Crimson vibe going on lol. That type of album wouldn't happen but man I'd love to hear what that would sound like haha.

That would be like the best thing ever regarding blink. An album to rival the untitled one.

 

These "Tom is coming back" people will never die and they will become the bane of our existence. Or perhaps they already have?

To those people, I ask: Can't y'all just appreciate what you have?! Let the gestation period with the current lineup/album come to an end first before that speculation happens? If he decides to get a wild hair and rejoin the band for next time, fine, whatever. For now, it ain't happening. No reason to believe that it is or will, so why not instead of asking for more ice cream when you already got the ice cream that you begged for since 2012, just enjoy your goddamn ice cream and worry about asking for more later on down the road. It'll spoil your appetite.

 

That's why I hope this lineup stays together, a first album with a new lineup will pretty much never be the best work they can do. That's why I really like that they basically scrapped a whole album before they finished this one though.

I actually saw someone on one of their posts callit +44 trio and complain the quality of the band went down hill. Me and a couple others put them in their place lol

It's entirely possible to enjoy your ice cream while speculating about your next bowl of ice cream. I do it all the time.

Humans are these crazy things that are capable of processing many emotions and thoughts all at once.
