Just wanna point out that Rickon isn't a main character. He's definitely dead.

In the pictures and trailer you can see various Xs out on the battlefield, presumably with flayed men on them. It's possible Rickon is on one to taunt Jon has they approach.

 

Can't say that I'd really be that upset if Rickon doesn't make it out of this season. I mean they basically wrote him out of the show for a while even though he's a Stark... He doesn't seem all that important, but it would be nice if he made it out of there and actually played a part in the show.

 

I mean, that's kinda Rickon in the books took because he's a toddler. But he's still a Stark.
