Holy fucking shit. Harold Reynolds is the worst. Never in my life did I think I'd take Chip Caray and Joe Simpson for granted. These FOX dudes are insanely bad.

 

Harold is the worst of all worsts

 

Harold took over the throne of worst sportscaster when he assumed Canadians couldn't throw a baseball. Or was it catch? One or the other. He's unlistenable.

 

Well, you missed some good stuff tonight.

Harold: "Freddie got a first pitch fastball there and missed. He usually hits those."
Other Broadcaster: "Actually Harold, that was a changeup."

 

I put my earbuds in. I couldn't take it anymore.

 

The worst part of the Cubs being good is all of these nationally televised games with FOX or ESPN announcers. Whenever that happens, I just listen to the Cubs radio guys (Pat Hughes is a legend) and watch the game on mute. It's worth it even if there is a delay.

Exactly what I grew up doing for national games haha.

 

Haha.. also did mute/radio thing today. I love Len and JD though- so many dad jokes and Seinfeld references.

But as much as ESPN/FOX announcers do suck, the worst part of the Cubs being this good for me is that I can no longer snag a ticket on StubHub for $6 and catch a game on the way home from work.

 

Cubs radio broadcast had awesome music. I heard Nirvana, Local H, and Jimmy Eat World.

Tehran and I have a love/hate relationship. My dad said well..he shut em down today..they're probably going to trade him. I laughed.

Was at the O's game last night, man what a game. 17 H for the O's - energy was unreal.

 

The Mets are giving me so much stress right now. Swept by the Braves? Come on. Though I will say this feels much more like a Mets season right now. I can wait another 15 years for a WS appearance.

 

too many injuries, also, the mets going into this season were being FARR too dependent on David Wright playing 100+ games and on 2nd year Michael Conforto. Losing Duda and D'arnaud is rough, but i think more onus is on no one is taking it on themselves to be the 2nd best player on the team.
