Albums in Stores – Feb. 15th, 2019

Betty Who, Copeland and Broken Social Scene today for me for sure. I'll also probably check out the new Avril album, she's a Canadian treasure and it would be nice to see her bound back from everything that's happened recently.

Singles I want to check out after class are Bruno Mars & Cardi B, Felix Cartal & Lights, Zedd & Katy Perry, Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, Years & Years with MNEK, Bebe Rexha, Hozier, blackbear, Alexisonfire, Kehlani, Lizzo, ALMA, Sara Bareilles, Rex Orange County.

New Alexisonfire is great. Hope this is leading to a new record and not just a standalone single.

Copeland's album is beautiful

Definitely gonna check out Millencolin, and probably skim through Avril's album. And I will probably skim through some other unfamiliar artists albums too to see if I find anything new I like.

 

So I was NOT prepared for the feelings of the Copeland album this morning, god dayum.

I’ve never given SWMRS proper attention before but this new record is interesting. I assumed “the band with Billie Joe Armstrong’s kid” would just be generic pop punk but nope

The Al Gore rhythm recommended "No Ritual" by Chain Wallet this morning. Very impressed so far. Dreamy, shoegazey indie rock.
